Adenia firingalavensis

Rare bottle-like caudiciform with an elongated variably-dimpled green caudex slowly to 50cms diam and 2m height tapering upwards into a tree-clinging vine in rocky dry Madagascan forests. The large summer leaves are lost in winter.
