Slow growing species from arid areas of Namibia. Forms attractive light grey rosettes to 30cm diameter. Flowers in winter on unbranched inflorescences, pink with greenish tips. Probably not OK outdoors in NZ.

Inflorescence is held out sideways.

Dark teeth on nearly cylindrical leaves.

Bizarre flowering format perhaps wants ground-dwelling insects to pollinate it?
