Cereus jamacaru

(or might be C.hildmannianus, we don't know enough) From Brazil, large-growing much-branched columnar cactus to 10m. Frost tolerant and easy. Enjoys root freedom and soil fertility. Whitish nocturnal flowers, repeatedly in summer.

2.Indoors OK, Outdoors OK, easy to grow.

Probably not the best planting plan. Panmure area. Removed by Gary Dovey and Tim Powell. Valiant effort!
This one in Greenlane.
Potted cutting.
Spot the crest?
There it is!
This one was in New North Rd and had to make way for the new Pak 'n Save...
So I obtained cutting rights and hired a cherry picker to get the big arms down undamaged.
This one in Mission Bay may be different, it seems to have shorter fatter annual growth segments. However, it is severely "potbound" in its situation.
