Stapelia olivacea

An unusual Stapelia, the plant format being probably the nicest we know of, with its thin fuzzy grey stems held erect in a closely parallel grouping. Flower is deep red, spiculed, and vile to the nose. Indoors only, keep on the dry side esp. when cold.

Even when not flowering the form is charming. In fact the flower rather unsettles the atmosphere around it.
